Summary Despite the polarised reviews we have seen before visiting, we were happy to find that our experience was definitely on the positive side. We opted for the prestige menu (£145) comprising of several amuse bouche, 8 courses (with a choice for either the pigeon or the lamb) and several petit fours. The majority of the dishes were top notched especially the pigeon and the lemonade parfait. We would have given it a perfect score if not for some of the dishes that, in our opinion, were slightly off. Overall, even though it was a bit pricey, Claire Smith did a great job in maintain the well deserved 3 Michelin star standard. |
