Summary On our last visit, we went to the restaurant on the other side "Maze Grill" which we've found to be quite disappointing. However this Asian influenced cuisine at Gordon Ramsay's Maze surprised us with some Asian takes on classic British dishes like the pork belly, London cured salmon and the duck leg. The 4 course lunch menu was flexible and full of variety with 7 savoury dishes and 2 sweet dishes to choose from (we ordered 7 out of the 9 dishes). |
Amuse bouche
We were served a variety of crackers and crisps, from pork floss to sesame cracker. An interesting selection.

Pork Belly
The pork belly was very well cooked, very tender with crispy skin. Served in an aromatic broth with bacon pieces and bean sprouts (which I don't think was necessary).

Chocolate and peanut bar
Served with caramelised banana and banana ice cream, this dish reminded me of fried banana caramel at Thai/Chinese restaurants back in Bangkok. The chocolate ganache was rich and delicious.

Frozen yoghurt
This dessert tasted better than it looks, the yoghurt was light and tangy and served with fig, which added some fruity note to the dish.
